Here’s My Personal ‘Must-Have’ Beautician’s Tool Box
As a Beauty Therapist and Skin Specialist our education has to be ongoing. We need to keep abreast with new technologies and whatever this fast-paced industry keeps coming up with. As soon as we stop working on our business and on our personal growth, our competitors will catch up and our clients will move on to someone else who is more knowledgeable and more well-researched. In addition, our clients are now well-read themselves, which is our duty to educate them on what’s good for them and what works, and what is just pure hype.
Here on this page you’ll find a recommended list of resources that I personally use and constantly refer to. ALL of these tools have been well researched and are the best in their class, and they come with the highest recommendation.
So without any further introduction, let’s begin:
FLORENCE BARRETT-HILL’S BOOKS:
Florence has been one of the few people who has taken professional skin treatment therapy and non-invasive aesthetic medicine in to the realms of scientific skin care. As a CIDESCO qualified skin therapist, she has owned her own skin care clinics and has worked as a consultant technician in the post operative care of burns survivors and plastic surgery patients for a major Auckland (New Zealand) hospital. Her books must be a must-read/must-have for someone who wants to take one’s beauty therapy diploma to the next level.
