The size of your pores is determined by your genes. You can minimise large pores on the nose, but it requires an intensive treatment performed by a trained therapist. Regular use of pore-minimising cream will help keep them clear of oily residue – minimising ingrained oily build-up will prevent them from appearing larger than they are.
Products such as Environ’s Sebuprep (which is a mineral-oil-based pre-cleanser) and the rest of the B-Active range with salicylic acid will unclog pores and dissolve the built-up oil. High levels of vitamin A will also help to reduce the appearance of enlarge pores. Sun damage can make pores look larger, so protect skin with a sunscreen. Don’t overcleanse, as this can stimulate oil production.
