I Have Oily, Spotty Skin – can I go without Moisturizer or Sunblock?

Because in the past, we, with oily skins have used products which left our skin feeling greasy, oilier, or on the other end of the spectrum too tight, we think that we can get away with not using a moisturiser, and that our skin might not need a moisturizer after all. However, this is bad for your skin. No matter how oily and hot skin feels, it needs a balanced, Vitamin-A based moisturizer (such as Environ’s B-Active Sebugel A) to prevent dehydration and poor skin nutrition in the long run. In addition, nowadays there is also no leaving home without a Sunscreen, no matter what skin type / condition you have.

Vitamin A will not only protect skin, it will also give it a matt appearance and leave it looking less irritated. And there’s more good news – vitamin A has been shown by medical research to help guard against bacterial and viral infections, so it’s ideal for controlling sports. It’s win-win all the way with vitamin A!
